Harvest Moon Square Dance!

What a wonderful evening we had! Many thanks to all the bands, callers, volunteers and attendees.

You will NOT want to miss this foot-stomping full moon barn-dance-in-the-chapel urban hoedown party!  Celebrate the full "Harvest" moon by enjoying the sweet tunes by some of Seattle's favorite old time string bands: the Tallboys, the Queen City Bulldogs and the Atlas Stringband.  Calling the dances will be the talented Charmaine Slaven, Sherry Nevins and Tony Mates.  These people know how to throw a party!  Dancing is not required, but will be hard to resist. The Tall Boys 380

What could possibly be a better way for gardeners, dancers, music lovers and friends to enjoy the last days of summer?  Come enjoy the festivities and raise some funds for Seattle Tilth's educational programs teaching organic gardening and preserving natural resources.

Many thanks to all the fantastic bands and callers who are volunteering their time to make this happen!!!

If you'd like to be on our volunteer crew to setup and cleanup, or otherwise help at the event, and get free admission, contact: jdellaringa@hotmail.com.
