Current Volunteer Opportunities

GOOD FOOD BAG PROGRAM
  • Volunteer Packing Good Food Bags
Let's make good food from local farmers more accessible in the community! Volunteers help pack Good Food Bags — weekly bags of sustainable, fresh produce, sourced from farmers during the season. Our program is expanding and we expect to pack around 800 Good Food Bags each week this fall! Volunteer shifts are on Wednesdays, noon-2pm and 2pm-4pm at the Tilth Alliance Food Hub, 5131 S. Director St., Seattle, WA 98118

EVENTS
  • Volunteer at Our Farm Sneak Peek
Tilth Alliance is teaming up with Seattle Parks Department and Friends of Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands for a Sneak Peek of the farm now that the construction and development are nearly complete. City officials, the media, community groups and the public are welcome to attend this official Parks' event to inaugurate the farm. There will be some speeches, self-guided tours with educators talking about the learning farm, production fields, food forest, wetlands, compost and greenhouses, and a pumpkin painting and pumpkin seed saving activity. Volunteers are needed to help make things run smoothly -- and you'll also get a sneak peek of this beautiful community learning farm!
