To get started as a Seattle Tilth volunteer, please:

- Food Lust
Support Seattle Tilth's mission to build healthy communities, a healthy food system and a healthy environment while gaining hands-on experience with various aspects of hosting a successful fundraising auction event.
- Food Lust Events Intern
Provide support to Seattle Tilth’s auction planning team by helping with item procurement, assisting with the auction database, and coordinating with staff and volunteers to create a successful event.
- Wetland Steward
Help restore the wetlands at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands!

Learn about organic food growing techniques while maintaining our farms and gardens.
- Veggie Crews
Work alongside Seattle Tilth staff and volunteers in our community learning gardens!
- Good Food Bag Volunteer
Help make good food from local farmers more accessible in the community! Volunteers needed to pack Good Food Bags, a weekly bag of sustainable, fresh produce sourced from local farmers.
- Rainier Beach Community Kitchen Dinner Assistant
Work with staff to offer nutrition and culinary support to participants at monthly community dinners in Rainier Beach.
- Rainier Beach Community Kitchen Food Systems Assistant
Support Seattle Tilth's Community Kitchens Northwest community dinner event by improving food sourcing systems.
- Senior meal support at Yesler Community Center
Help with the Yesler senior meal program, giving seniors time to build community while eating.
Volunteer at mobile kitchens, staff trainings and family workshops by helping to prepare, facilitate, and clean up kid-friendly cooking activities with preschool-age students, teachers and/or families.
- Children's Guide
Lead kids through the garden to explore new tastes and smells, geek out with worms, and work the soil.
- Driving Instructor for Seattle Youth Garden Works
Help youth program assistant staff obtain a driver’s license in order to meet their personal professional and financial goals. Must have own vehicle and vehicle insurance.
