Seattle Tilth Farm Works provides farm business training to aspiring farmers in the Puget Sound region. Interns are involved in all aspects of the farm and work closely with program staff. Learn about and participate in greenhouse management, field cultivation, irrigation systems, pest control, harvesting, post harvest handling, distribution, and animal care. 25-30 hours per week. Priority is given to applicants willing to participate in farm activities for the remainder of the growing season, through the end of November. Contact email@example.com.
Assist with wetland restoration and environmental education curriculum development at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. Lead weekly to biweekly work parties with staff and volunteer support, and assist in developing environmental education curriculum for work parties and volunteers. 8-16 hours/week.
