Interns hold pivotal roles at Seattle Tilth contributing their time and skills while gaining valuable work experience with a successful nonprofit.

  3. Read on for more information.  If you submit a cover letter and resume to any of the programs below, please indicate which program you are applying to.  Unless otherwise indicated, all positions below are currently accepting 

Seattle Tilth Farm Works provides farm business training to aspiring farmers in the Puget Sound region. Interns are involved in all aspects of the farm and work closely with program staff.  Learn about and participate in greenhouse management, field cultivation, irrigation systems, pest control, harvesting, post harvest handling, distribution, and animal care. 25-30 hours per week. Priority is given to applicants willing to participate in farm activities for the remainder of the growing season, through the end of November. Contact

Assist with wetland restoration and environmental education curriculum development at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. Lead weekly to biweekly work parties with staff and volunteer support, and assist in developing environmental education curriculum for work parties and volunteers. 8-16 hours/week. Priority given to applications received by 9/4/15. Contact
