Seattle Tilth's Children's Garden is sprouting young gardeners year 'round.

Tea Kids 360 

Schools & Classrooms
Visit the Children's Garden for hands-on learning opportunities that include exploring worm bins, taking a sensory tour and learning to take care of an organic veggie garden. 

Ages 2 to 5 years
Parents and children learn about the garden together in these one-day classes. Explore the worm bins, plant seeds, use tools, and have fun learning about nature in the garden.

Mobile Garden Classroom

We will bring our garden curriculum to your classroom. These classes fulfill science requirements.  Choose from: "Soil In A Box," "Teach Peace Through Gardening," "Worms on Wheels" and others. Contact us for more information.

Interested in exploring the magic of the garden? Receive free ongoing training to lead tours at the Children's Garden exploring garden ecology and having tons of fun! Volunteer training sessions.

This is an exciting opportunity for adults and older students to have hands-on learning and real-life experience in teaching children and adults, maintaining organic gardens and learning about non-profit organization. With 3, 6 and 9 month commitments.

From the Kid's Parade and face painting at the Harvest Fair in Sept. to seed planting at the Edible Plant Sale in May, children and families will enjoy Seattle Tilth's annual events.

The Children's Garden is located behind the Good Shepherd Center in the Wallingford neighborhood.
