Farm Fest

Join the fun! Festivities will include fun activities for the whole family. Pick blueberries in the food forest, attend cooking demonstrations and learn how to make spring rolls, discover the wetlands with SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve, plant seeds with Tiny Tots Development Center, and more. The Common Acre will host a pollinator workshop in the garden and we'll also be making herb crowns to wear!

Local businesses and community organizations will be serving up refreshments and providing additional opportunities for getting involved in Rainier Beach.

Join Tilth Alliance’s educators in the kitchen to learn how to make fresh spring rolls using ingredients straight from the garden! Spring roll demos will happen every hour. Plus, Chef Emnet Getahun will join us at 2 p.m. to show us how to prepare vegetarian and kid-friendly Ethiopian cuisine. Presented with Families of Color Seattle.

On the Farm Fest Stage

The Farm Fest stage will feature live music all day! Enjoy sets from KEXP DJ Stas THEE Boss between performances, plus a full schedule of bands and performers.

We'll have food growing in the fields and livestock visiting the farm on the day of the event — please leave pets at home!
