Symposium — Soil: What’s it Worth 


Why do soils matter? Does the time spent improving soil quality on farm make a difference? Join a panel of Northwest researchers, who’s on-farm results directly point to the dollars and cents connection between soil management and farm economics. Learn how and why soil management decisions affect production, pests, fertility and produce quality to impact your bottom line.

Farm Tour — Diversifying Production 

Over the past decade, farmers have started to specialize in diversifying their crop production. Throughout the Leavenworth and Wenatchee area, there are prime examples. Join us for a tour, plus lunch and discussion time with your fellow farmers. The tour will include stops at Gibbs Organic Farm, Stemilt’s packhouse and Kyle Mathison Orchards.
