Pybus Market

Join us for a mix and mingle event at the Pybus Market, just a short walk from the convention center. Enjoy this evening in a historical gem of Wenatchee and reconnect with friends and colleagues while enjoying beer and wine from the Wenatchee Valley Brewing Co. We’re excited to offer this celebration of farmer networking to honor our mentors, welcome our newest community members, and reconnect with everyone in between. Music, snacks, and a cash bar will be available for all conference attendees and guests. Let’s kick off the weekend with a bang!

Listening Session & Happy Hour

Saturday, 5-6:30 p.m.
Conference social events

Seattle Tilth’s board of directors is hosting listening sessions around Washington to hear the hopes, desires and concerns of our state’s communities of producers and eaters. As an engaged participant in our community, we invite you to join us for this listening session at the conference.

This year, in a move to consolidate and strengthen the efforts and resources of likeminded people and missions, Seattle Tilth, Tilth Producers and Cascade Harvest Coalition merged to form one new, statewide organization. Combining the work of these three organizations opens doors to new opportunities for changing the way our food system works, but we need your help to understand how to make the biggest impact.

Conference food

This listening session will give attendees a chance to meet the new board, hear organizational updates and talk about how Tilth can respond to your needs and your communities’ needs as a more expansive organization. Enjoy light snacks and drinks while we envision the future!

Dinner & Awards Ceremony

Saturday, 7-9 p.m.

Join us for a special banquet dinner followed by the annual awards ceremony. All are welcome to help us honor the Farmer and Advocate of the Year after a great dinner of local, organic food. The Farmer of the Year is someone who exhibits outstanding efforts in land stewardship and the Advocate of the Year is an individual who’s made a significant contribution to the sustainability of organic farming.

Square Dancing with The Nematones

Caller Rosie Sweetman will teach old time traditional Southern squares accompanied by blazing fiddle tunes from Skagit Valley’s The Nematones. Come get warm, make new friends and smile until your cheeks hurt. No experience necessary. All dances taught on the spot.
